So, you think you have what it takes to become an adventure racer?

Phatchicks.com, in partnership with RACEDAYRUSH, are hosting a contest where four selected participants will go through a 12 week training program in order to qualify for one of two spots on Team RACEDAYRUSH.com at Saucony RockstAR Adventure Race on July 24th 2010.

Eligible participants will be coached by phatchicks.com and will have periodic training sessions with members of RACEDAYRUSH. In addition to endurance running, general nutrition and overall fitness, participants will learn cool mountain biking skills, orienteering and paddling skills. Above all, the importance of teamwork, commitment, fun and overall enjoyment will be the theme of this contest.

This is a great opportunity for personal transformation and each participants blog will be a personal recording of their experience. Participants will blog at least once per week.

How To Enter
Write to us and tell us why you should be a part of the team. We are looking for people who have never participated in an adventure race and are looking to challenge themselves with new experiences. Tell us your story.

Terms and Conditions
Contest recipients must be willing to be coached.

Participants will be required to complete homework exercises.

Participants will need to check in daily with coaches.

Participants will blog at least weekly.

Participants must be willing to travel to north west GTA for training weekly without compensation.

Weekly group training sessions TBD but estimated to be Sunday mid mornings.

Participants must have a good working mountain bike or access to a good working mountain bike for use.

Participants will be bound to the terms and conditions of the RockstAR Adventure Race mandatory gear requirements.

Participants will also required to sign off on all applicable waivers of liability.

Participants must be 19 years of age or older.
