News from the race. No permits were obtained, no medical staff on site, rangers intervened during the prologue and cited the RD. Supposedly they started the race anyway, but family members have received no communication as to status and Spot trackers are being kept solely for emergencies and are not being tracked live.

From a family and friends perspective I am very disappointed with these race organizers! With all the problems, no permit, no medical, no website, it causes suspicion of being inconsiderate at least and even perhaps thieves…
