Slaughterama 6
Thousands of bike punks across the nation converged in Richmond, Virginia, “one of the dirtiest yat[yet] charming places on earth…”, for 6th running of Slaughterama, an event teetering on the fringe of bike culture, put on by a group called Cutthroats. A day of events centered around brutal drunken bicycle competitions including bike jousting, foot-down, and an event called “whiplash”….to name just a few. 
Too good to be true, some would say. Others might prefer to participate from the safety of their own personal computer. Either way, you gotta love these videos:

Slaughterama is amazing.
I’ve been twice and I’m planning going again this year. Everyone who’s interested in seeing and/or participating in drunken revelry with some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet (hard to believe, but true) should hike to the beautiful River City to enjoy this three day event. It’s actually a competition between local and out-of-town bike crews with different events on different days. What you see here is just Day 2

Dude the article says Slaughterama takes place in Pittsburg. WRONG! Its in one of the dirtiest yat charming places on earth…Richmond, Virginia. Not to say that Pittsburg isn’t dirty or charming but Slughterama is a Richmond creation. Just givin credit where its due.
